Course Description
This course covers the key areas addressed in a comprehensive massage program. The study is broken into Part 1 Theory focus and Part 2 Technique and application focus. The instructor will guide the student to focus on the elements that are essential for the professional massage therapist. Although the instructor is in agreement with much of the opinions of the author of Massage Mastery, there are areas that the student will receive additions and or corrections. The study of massage theory in comparison to the other subjects taught at MTI allows the instructor greater personal and original input and latitude of opinion than do the harder sciences such as A&P, Kinesiology and Pathology.
